Nikki Ramirez
Founder & Executive Director
The founder and executive director of Rosie’s Adventures is Rosie’s mom, Nikki Ramirez. Nikki went to the University of Florida and received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She continued on at Florida A&M’s College of Law in Orlando and received her Juris Doctor. After law school she stayed in Orlando and practiced law as a prosecutor for the 9th Circuit.
Her entire world stopped when Rosie was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Navigating the pediatric cancer world is a lot and very overwhelming. Nikki was by Rosie’s side the entire time, living out of the hospital for months at a time, doing endless research on clinical trials, and doing everything possible to make life as fun as possible for Rosie.
Rosie was always such an inspiration to everyone around her, especially to her mom. Rosie’s Adventures was inspired by the way Rosie lived her life. She was so caring and always wanted to make the people around her happy. She lived her life to the fullest and loved going on adventures. Nikki wants to be able to create that for other kids battling cancer. To be able to bring joy to such strong warriors is an honor and something Nikki will do for the rest of her life.
Susan Vershel
Vice President
Our vice president is Susan Vershel. Susan is passionate about being a part of not only helping other children with pediatric cancer, but helping to keep Rose’s memory alive.
Susan was so incredibly grateful for those “strangers”, who came together to build another family for Rose and hers. Taking the time from themselves to give back to this beautiful little girl and her family, is one of the most beautiful gifts anyone could give. Her hope is that she can provide that same extended family for other children and families here in Central Florida with Rosie’s Adventures.
Sarah Kemper
Board of Director
Sarah Kemper is one of our board of directors. Sarah is a proud graduate from Florida State University in 2007 and a passionate educator ever since. Working with children and young adults inspires her and gives her hope towards a brighter future with cures and more options for those stricken with life’s most challenging circumstances.
Sarah has been a part of Rosie’s life since she was a baby. Rosie absolutely adored her and they shared a strong bond. Watching Rosie battling cancer is Sarah inspiration for wanting to bring more joy to more children who are given a horrible set of challenges to endure. Children should always be looking towards fufulling their dreams. This foundation aims to help achieve these goals.

Lisa Sinkiewicz
Lisa Sinkiewicz is a Philadelphia native who loves her family, friends and faith. She is one of our board members who is extremely passionate about helping others both at work and in her personal life. She proudly sits on this board to help us spread awareness surrounding pediatric cancer and assist other families going through cancer treatment with their children.
John Luke Ramirez
Toy Advisor
A very special person involved with Rosie’s Adventures is our toy advisor, John Luke. John Luke will keep us up to date on the newest coolest toys for the kids care packages. John Luke is Rosie’s younger brother. He was one of her biggest fans and was her side kick. Their love was so pure and sweet. You could always hear their giggles and loud ways in the hospital together. John Luke loved everything that Rosie loved so it’s so important to us to have him involved in Rosie’s Adventures.
